Listen to me read the introduction to you:
OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
Hello 5th Grader! The Hingham Art Teachers have been working hard to give you fun and creative ways to review what you already know about visual art. We understand that different families have different resources at home (so do I!) so you will have choices. Over the final few weeks of school, students will be creating artwork based on art professions such as illustration, curation, and architecture! As usual, there are two choices of lessons this week, one it slightly shorter of an activity the other! All the art teachers miss you a lot, and will see you soon! If you have questions, submit a question on google classroom or ask your parents to email me. I am the art teacher at PRS, Ms Kelfer: [email protected] INTRODUCTION This week you will be a CURATOR! A curator is someone who selects artwork to be displayed, this may be in a gallery or a museum, they also spend a lot of time looking at, writing about and advertising the artwork! You will have two options for a curator project. One requires you to have access to a camera, where you will take photographs for a photography exhibit! In the other activity you just need paper, pencil, coloring supplies and your imagination because you will be making a MINI PET MUSEUM! MATERIALS (Photography Exhibit)
ACTIVITY CHOICE 1: Photography Curator! (shorter activity)
ACTIVITY CHOICE 2: Pet Museum ! (longer activity)
