DISTANCE LEARNING ASSIGNMENT Week 2
Art Challenge for Grade 6 Hi 6th graders! This week I want you to picture someplace you would want to fly over and create a hot air balloon landscape. This lesson will reinforce your understanding of perspective and also use lines to create the illusion of volume in your balloons. You can use many different materials for this. I will show 2 options but you are welcome to experiment and use whatever drawing materials you have at home! OVERVIEW & PURPOSE This project allows students to use their imagination and creativity and also reinforces their understanding of space and perspective. Students will use lines to add volume to their drawing. For those who choose, there is the option of taking this a step further and adding value with colored pencil shading or paint. OBJECTIVES
DIRECTIONS Begin in pencil
