OBJECTIVES
Learn about a way to create depth in your drawings. It is called 1 point perspective.
Create a drawing using a horizon line and 1 point.
Fill your drawing with houses, sidewalks, people, animals, and anything else from your imagination.
Have fun using your imagination and building your own world on the page!
MATERIALS
Paper
Pencil
Ruler
Choice of crayons, color pencils, markers, or paint to add color
ACTIVITY Step 1. Draw a line across the top section of your paper Step 2 . Put a dot in the center of this line Step 3. Starting at that dot draw a line out to each lower corner of your paper (hardest part is done) Step 4 . Imagine this triangle you just drew is a street going off into the distance Step 5. On one side draw three rectangles Starting at the bottom make that rectangle the biggest the next two smaller as they go back Step 6 do the same thing to the other side of the street but with trees Step 7 turn rectangles into buildings and finish off your drawing with your own additions Alternate project starts the same way but you can turn it into a farm . Add your own details and and many animals and crops as you can!
